Baytown Fire Department: Station 2
The Baytown Fire Department’s Station 2 houses this beautiful 1947 Mack with Termodyne six cylinder engine. It is equipped with 750 GPM pump and 200 gallon booster tank. It was placed into service in 1947 and ended its duty in 1979. It is still very functional and thrills many by touring Santa each Christmas.
Houston Fire Department: Station 72

Houston Fire Department Station 72 houses two antique American LaFrance engines. The first is Type 7, circa 1922, 750 GPM pump, chain drive. Note the right-side steering column. It possesses beautiful Vesta headlights and spotlights.

The second truck at HFD Station 72 is Engine No 1, 1934 registration 7509, Series 310RC PWT (pump with tank). It has a V12 E engine and 1000 GPM rotary pump. The truck was originally built for Phoenix but it was never accepted. Note the beautiful Dietz spot light, the Sirenlite in the front-center of the windshield, and the cowl lights. Historically, it was one of the last Houston chain drives to be taken out of service. The pump is dated 1/15/1932.
